unit testing - Amazon S3 standalone stub server -

i seem recall reading amazon s3-compatible test server run on own server unit tests or whatever. however, i've exhausted patience looking both google , aws. such thing exist? if not, think i'll write one.

note: i'm asking amazon s3 (the storage system) rather amazon ec2 (cloud computing).

are thinking of park place?
