does lucene queryparser.parse(string) still work? if deprecated, new syntax?

query query = queryparser.parse("ophelia");

not sure of exact api, it's changed instance object. queryparsers instance objects.

var qp = new queryparser(new standardanalyzer(),fields); qp.parse(inputstring,fields);
