Auto select an item from a jQuery Autocomplete combobox -

i have page using couple of jquery's autocomplete comboboxes. need able autoselect item list when user clicks button, or if value passed page combobox. how can set value of both underlying selectbox , jquery combobox?

never mind, found solution. when each autocomplete combobox created, give unique id, use id set value using $('#comboboxuniqueid').val($('#selectbox').val())
