Javascript syntax highlighting in vim -

has else found vim's syntax highlighting of javascript sub-optimal? i'm finding need scroll around in order syntax highlighting adjusted, mysteriously drops highlighting.

are there work-arounds or ways fix this? i'm using vim 7.1.

you might try improved javascript syntax highlighter rather 1 ships vimruntime.
